The Pendleton School Chapter of the National Honor Society inducted 17 new student members on February 24 at the IMG Country Club. The National Honor Society was founded in 1921 and promotes and rewards scholarship, leadership, service, and character in high school students. The organization ranks high among administrators, faculty members, students, parents, and academia. Bob Busch, Teacher of Trigonometry and Advisor to Pendleton’s National Honor Society, and Stephen Schwager, Assistant Headmaster presided over the ceremony.
The student honorees are: Gonzalo Asis, Kenny Chong, Charlotte DuPont, Alfredo Escalera, Shohnini Ghosh-Choudhary, Kendyl Green, Jennifer Gorman, Alex Haiart, Michael Hayman, Ryan Jung, Ketchum Marsh, Jennifer McDade, Chandini Meka, Katerina Prorokova, Andree Sime, Barrett Snyder, and Brooke Stephens.
