Congratulations to the Pendleton team of Josh Eimer and Sten Kadji for earning a second place victory in the Florida high school division of The Stock Market Game™.  The students competed against 455 other teams in the State of Florida for the Fall 2009-2010 session.

The Stock Market Game™ is a national financial literacy program and a trademark of the Foundation for Investor Education, a nonprofit organization that gives educators an innovative tool to use with elementary, middle, and high school students. Participating in a live trading simulation, students learn about the stock market, how to invest, how to assess overall conditions by reading real news reports, and how the market affects various other aspects of life. They start with a virtual cash account of $100,000 and work in teams to develop the best-performing portfolio.

 Josh and Sten will receive certificates from the Foundation, recognizing their impressive achievement among high schools in the State of Florida.
