HEADMASTER'S WELCOME

Dear Pendleton Friend,

Welcome to The Pendleton School. We are a school specifically designed to meet the needs of young people with a sports passion 
who want to receive an individualized college preparatory education. Pendleton offers classes from 7:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. daily
to accommodate the various training demands of each sport. Our faculty has a broad range of academic and business experiences.
Over 50% of our faculty has advanced degrees. Further, among the 50 faculty there are 12 languages spoken to help serve the 52
countries represented in our population.

The curriculum delivery is varied to keep students engaged and help ensure higher academic performance. Our program is designed
to meet students where they are and help them set, achieve, and exceed their potential. This is accomplished in an environment
that recognizes different learning styles and where, in addition to our regular daytime class offerings, holds an evening tutorial four
nights per week, staffed by our faculty. Over 90% of our graduates go directly to college with over 50% receiving partial or full
scholarships based on their athletic and academic performance.

I hope you will make the time to visit campus. You will see 430 students who recognize that pursuing an athletic passion doesn’t
preclude high academic achievement.
